OFFART x Horiren’s Red Flame Hundred Cats Returns in Black Gold
Black Gold Rising from the Depths
I’ve been following the Red Flame Hundred Cats series since the beginning, and the new Black Gold edition might be my favorite yet. Designed by OFFART in collaboration with Taiwanese tattoo artist Horiren, this colorway features a deep black finish with gold accents that catch the light subtly.
The iconic towering kaiju head remains the centerpiece, with LED eyes, glowing fins, and an illuminated tongue giving the figure its signature presence.
A Guardian Born of Shadows and Spirits
There's also a story behind it: "For years, pirates have been vying to seize a mysterious lantern submerged in the eastern abyss. Legend claims this artifact, forged with inked-gold patterns and a base encircled by a hundred feline silhouettes adorned with golden knots, grants any wish to its possessor. Yet none suspect that within the deep-sea magma lurks the true guardians - colossal beasts formed from the coalesced souls of black felines, known as the Red Flame Hundred Cats."
