Taiwan’s National Palace Museum turned 100—and the celebration came with a surprise guest. Bugcat Capoo(貓貓蟲咖波), the original blue troublemaker from Taiwan, jumped into history and popped out as the “National Palace Museum Adventure” figure series by Partnertoys.
Each figure turns a legendary treasure into a mini adventure: Jadeite Cabbage, Meat-Shaped Stone, Early Spring scroll, and the ancient Mao Gong Ding. Capoo might not understand history… but Capoo definitely wants to eat it.
The Famous Jadeite Cabbage (翠玉白菜)
The Jadeite Cabbage is one of Taiwan’s most iconic museum treasures—and of course Capoo wants a bite. The limited hidden version uses a semi-transparent finish, just like the real gemstone sheen.
Meat-Shaped Stone (東坡肉) – Too Tasty to Resist
This tiny stone looks exactly like a braised pork belly, and Capoo treats it like lunch. The sculpt stacks the famous meat stone on Capoo’s head like a trophy
Early Spring Scroll (早春圖) – Capoo Becomes an Artist
The legendary Song dynasty landscape painting turns into Capoo’s scroll moment. Capoo sits beside and about to host a museum lecture.
Mao Gong Ding (毛公鼎) – Ancient Ritual, Capoo Edition
The Mao Gong Ding is a bronze ritual vessel… but Capoo hops inside like it’s a hot tub. This figure mixes history and silliness perfectly—classic museum detail with Capoo’s happy face peeking over the rim.
Bonus Collaboration – Taiwan 7-Eleven Event
To celebrate the museum’s anniversary, Taiwan 7-Eleven also launched a cross-brand campaign with Bugcat Capoo, featuring cushions, scroll-style utensils, glass cup sets, ceramic bowls, magnetic clips, and more.
Only issue is that the shape is a little more malformed/lopsided than pictures shown making it not as apple-shaped and there was some scratches on the paint. Figure still looks good, but for the price I'd prefer a better quality delivered. I didn't have the same issue with the burger fairies line so this might just be a problem with the apple. Unrelated to the product itself but I also find the boxing to be way too big and a waste. I assume they just order them all that size for manufacturing purposes though (just wish my apple fairy didn't have scratches anyways you know?). But that's a small gripe.
Thank you for your purchase and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your figure arrived with paint scratches. We’ll also share your comments on the product and packaging with the manufacturer, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know.
