Taiwanese design studio Luyao Design is back with a highly anticipated sequel to one of their most beloved blind box lines: Cat Hug Series 2: Costume Party! First debuting as an exclusive preview at the 2026 Creative Expo Taiwan, this brand-new collection builds on the signature raised-paw pose that made the original wave a hit, bringing a whole new lineup of party disguises, pop-culture references, and hilarious costume details.

A Dress-Up Party Full of Surprises

The Cat Hug Series 2: Costume Party collection includes 19 unique figures in total—18 standard designs plus 1 secret edition. Ranging between 7 to 9 cm tall.

While the set includes fun disguises like pharaohs, ghosts, and party foods, the real highlights are Luyao Design's pop-culture nods. Standouts include a cat styled after legendary Taiwanese comedian Chu Ko-liang (豬大哥) and a detailed homage to the movie Dances with Dragon, complete with the famous lobster outfit ("Sit Down Please" style).
