Some people grew up with Hello Kitty. I grew up with Mashimaro—the bunny who didn’t smile, didn’t talk, and definitely didn’t care about being polite. If Hello Kitty is the class president, Mashimaro is the weird kid making fart jokes in the back row.

Originally from early 2000s Korean webtoons, Mashimaro’s whole thing was toilet humor, weird silence, and total chaos. Just a round bunny with a plunger stuck to his head.

The new PooPoo blind box brings back everything I love about Mashimaro: bathroom jokes, absurd little setups, and a straight-faced look that makes it all even funnier. Each figure is based on a toilet-themed moment, and a few even come with light-up bases that make the whole display feel even more ridiculous—just enough to make you laugh and want to complete the full set.

Here’s what I really love about this series: the acrylic backdrop stands. I’ve been noticing more of these popping up in recent releases, and I genuinely think it’s the next move for blind boxes. It makes every figure feel more complete, more display-worthy—and it doesn’t take up a ton of shelf space. It’s like a mini scene built just for that character.
