Warning! High Energy Reaction detected! Angel approaching! The Human Instrumentality Project takes stage once again as Funism launches the Rebuild of Evangelion Eva Blind Box Series Vol.1.

This first volume brings together four character figures—Rei, Shinji, Asuka, and Mari—and five EVA units from the New Theatrical Edition lineup. Each mecha stands ready for battle, with one rare pull: Test Type-01 Awakened Ver., glowing with post-battle energy and halo effect.

Each figure captures the mechanical intensity and emotional charge of Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition (Rebuild of Evangelion)—from the precision of the armor panels to the vivid impact base designs. Only issue is that the shape is a little more malformed/lopsided than pictures shown making it not as apple-shaped and there was some scratches on the paint. Figure still looks good, but for the price I'd prefer a better quality delivered. I didn't have the same issue with the burger fairies line so this might just be a problem with the apple. Unrelated to the product itself but I also find the boxing to be way too big and a waste. I assume they just order them all that size for manufacturing purposes though (just wish my apple fairy didn't have scratches anyways you know?). But that's a small gripe.
