The Mission Failed — But the Figure Survived
Designer Con 2025 (Nov 14–16) featured countless releases, but one from Fools Paradise stood out for getting captured before the mission even began. HIJACK PROFESSIONAL made his debut in full hostage mode — hands tied, head covered, dignity gone. If you didn’t make it to DCon, don’t worry. He didn’t escape, and now he’s here at Sunny Studio.
The Story Behind the Bag
According to the concept, a professional assassin botches a hit and is instantly taken hostage. The bodyguard looks around, grabs a paper bag from the scene, slips it over the assassin’s head, and drags him into interrogation. No clever plan. No stealth technique. Just a bag — and his pride left behind with the receipt.
A Coffee Shop Confession
This Fools Paradise figure is styled in Flat White Caramel tones, inspired by the designer’s regular stop at a certain famous coffee shop. The vinyl headpiece mimics that takeout bag we all recognize a little too well. At this point, it’s starting to feel like the real hijack might be happening at the counter every morning — and not during the mission.
