Build Your Mini Hangar: Bandai Announces Gundam Kikai Koubou Vol.1!
Desktop Maintenance Bays Brought to Life
Bandai Namco (Shanghai) officially debuts KIKAI KOUBOU Mobile Suit Gundam Vol.1, a fresh blind box series that condenses famous mecha into rounded proportions while introducing a full garage display experience!
Standing at approximately 8.5 cm tall, each mecha figure comes complete with an 11 cm tall "KOUBOU" maintenance hangar base. Rather than simply displaying a static figure, this collection recreates the excitement of a real mobile suit service bay. Mount beam rifles, shields, and bazookas onto the racking system, or detach limbs and head units to simulate an active maintenance overhaul.
Universal Pegs & Infinite Mix-and-Match Customization
The true core of the KIKAI KOUBOU system lies in its creative modularity. Designed with universal hardpoints across every suit, players can swap heads, arms, weaponry, and equipment seamlessly across the entire lineup. Mount a Gundam head onto a Zaku body, swap specialized shields, or build unique hybrid mecha. Each blind box functions as a mini armor vault ready for custom configuration.
Vol.1 Lineup & Expandable Base System
The debut collection features an impressive 8-figure roster:
Both Freedom and Justice Gundam feature removable backpack flight packs that dock directly into the hangar walls. Meanwhile, the Zaku series stores giant bazookas and heat hawks neatly inside the frame.
Best of all, every individual hangar bay locks together horizontally and stacks vertically. Combine all eight units to build a massive, multi-level fortress garage right on your desk!
